Cell Research, 2011, advance online, doi:10.1038/cr.2011.
Phosphatidylinositol monophosphate 5-kinase (PIP5K) is a valuable component in PI signaling transmission . Here, we demonstrate PIP5K2 could regulate lateral root formation and auxin asymmetric accumulation in plant root epidermal cell under gravistimulation via its production PtdIns(4,5)P2, which could enhanced the vesicle trafficking and cycling of PIN proteins. This work provides a new insight in the crosstalk between PI signaling and auxin response.(llb)

We have demonstrated that Membrane Steroid Binding Protein 1 (MSBP1) suppresses BR signaling, a phytohormone has long been known to do with the photomorphogenesis, in Arabidopsis. Here MSBP1 is presented to be activated by HY5 and HYH directly, both of which are key regulators in light signaling. In a word, MSBP1 probably serve as a joint in conjunction with the BR and light signaling. (llb)

Plant Physiology, 2011, 156, 1397-1409, doi:10.1104 / pp.111.173427.
OsABL1 encodes a bZIP transcription factor, which participates in the stress responses by regulating a series of ABRE-containing WRKY family genes . Expression of OsABL1 could be significantly enhanced by hormones ABA and IAA ,what is more, the abl1 mutant is hypersensitive to exogenous IAA. These would shed light on the interaction of ABA and auxin signaling. (llb)
